"I sent a robot into my cat's cardboard castle... and what it found changed everything." True Cat Crime Drama Ep. 1

Episode 1: "The Investigation Begins."

I could tell something was very wrong right from the start....

My cats were dragging odd items into their cardboard castle, and whenever I got too close they all acted like they were hiding something.

So after a couple days of watching their behavior, I decided it was time to send a robot into their castle to see just what was going on.

But as soon as it set foot on the kitchen floor, they surrounded it. 

And it seemed like they were aggressive.

I built the cardboard castle for my cats as a source of enrichment...but as I aimed the robot for the entrance it became very clear that they didn't want me to go inside.

Pushing the controls forward, the robot zoomed past Logan who was acting like door security at a packed concert, and into the first major room of the castle.

As the robots night vision kicked in...everything looked normal...

...until Logan showed up in the corner with his nose stuffed into a bowling pin...

...and then his head popped up and....I'll never forget "the face."

His eyes were like saucers, rimmed in green fire, and they fixated on the robot with predatory malice.

Working the controls frantically trying to escape, he grabbed the robot, and then kicked it backwards with animal ferocity. 

This wasn't my Logan....something had changed...

Before I could get the robot completely turned towards the closest exit, Tom and Madeline showed up....with the same crazy look in their eyes!

It felt like they were discussing what they were going to do about the robot, but after a painfully long 30 seconds or so, I was able to jam the controls foward and exit the room, where I crashed into a wall in the cardboard castle hallway...

...and as I turned the controls to the left, towards my escape...

...there was Logan. Just sitting there, with eyes glowing in the light....staring at the robot like he was Michael Myers and tonight was October 31st.

I had never been afraid of my cats before in my entire life. ...until this moment.

Frantically working the remote controls, the robot and my viewpoint, made a dash for the living room...

...only to be followed by the cats...

"Oh....no."
